How can we help you
As a self-employed worker, you manage your own schedule and are responsible for your equipment. You do not have a subordinate relationship or employment with Goodjob. You are also responsible for paying your taxes each year. Goodjob does not report these amounts for you but will send you a T4A within the required period.
If your annual income exceeds $30,000, you should register. We advise you to consult an accountant or tax specialist if you have more questions.
Your display settings, such as text zoom, might be causing the issue. We recommend resetting the zoom to default during registration, then adjusting it afterward.
Confirmation times vary depending on the companies, as each has its own selection process.
Companies select candidates based on their needs and your profile, which includes your experience and reliability statistics. If another person is confirmed for the position, the offer will disappear from the list of available shifts. Sometimes, companies also fill their needs internally. It's important to keep applying and to enhance your profile.
To improve your chances, make sure to complete all the requested information in your profile: your skills, years of experience, and description. Also, ensure that your reliability statistics and mission history reflect your commitment and professionalism.
Before applying, you can use the "Google Maps" option available above the "apply" button to view your route and assess the feasibility of the trip. It's important to confirm that you can make it there, as canceling after confirmation will affect your statistics.
Submitting your timesheet allows companies to validate your hours and ensures timely payment processing. Make sure to submit it promptly, as companies have until Tuesday at 6 p.m. to approve the hours worked in the previous week. A delay in submission may result in delayed payments.
Direct deposits are generally made every Wednesday for shifts completed between Monday and Sunday of the previous week. Allow up to 2 business days for the amount to appear in your account.
If you haven't received your payment within the usual timeframe, we recommend checking that your bank account details are correct in your profile. An incorrect account number can delay the processing of your deposit. If everything seems in order, feel free to contact our support team for further assistance.
Your reliability is measured by your commitment to shifts. If you cancel 24 hours or more before the shift, it will appear as a "cancellation" in your profile. Canceling within 24 hours before the shift is considered a "last-minute cancellation," which companies appreciate less. Failing to show up without canceling will severely impact your future chances. We advise you to confirm your availability before applying.
