How can we help you?

Each company confirms its candidates at the time of it choice.

Each company has until Tuesday 5pm each week to validate the workers hours for shifts done from Monday to Sunday of the previous week.

The direct deposits to pay the invoices are normally made every Wednesday for the period going from Monday to Sunday of the previous week. Allow up to 2 business days after that Wednesday for the payment to show into your account.

Companies confirm the candidates they want, when they want. Their selection is normally based on your profile. They look at your experiences and your reliability statistics. If a company confirms another subcontractor, the shift will disappear from the shifts offered. It is also possible that the company has met its needs internally, so it can cancel its request. The important thing is to continue to apply and to ensure that you have experience in your profile for each positions you apply for.

As mentioned in your profile, companies hire you as a self-employed subcontractor. You make your own schedule, you have your own clothes and you have no relationship of subordination with GoodJOB. GoodJOB advances you the funds you charge companies as companies often take weeks to pay invoices. We charge business service fees for our lending services as well as for using the app.

No, you don't have to. However it is required if you are paid more than 30 000$ per year. A section will soon be added in your profile on the application where you will be able to enter your tax numbers. Taxes will be added to the invoices that the application generates for you each week. In the meantime, you can send us an email and we will adjust your invoices.

It's a self-service desk, so you can apply on any shift. On the other hand, if you do not have any experience, you risk not being selected. If you list work experience that you don't have, clients might fire you without paying you. This is not a platform to train workers, it is made to link companies and workers who already have a minimum of experience in their field.

Look at the settings on your phone, you may have a zoom option to enlarge the letters. You will need to reset your zoom to normal size for the inscription and then you can enlarge again to use the application.

There is the ''Google map'' option just above the ''apply'' button on each shift to help you see if you will be able to get to your contract on the day in question. Please make sure you can go before applying because if the client confirms you and you subsequently cancel, this will show in your profile statistics. If you have many cancellation on your profile statistic, clients are less likely to select someone with a lot of last minute cancellations.

The most important thing is to apply only if you are 99.9% certain. Of course there are unforeseen events in life. If you cancel 24 hours before the shift you will only have 1 ''in advance cancellation'' . If you cancel 24 hours or less before the shift it will be a ''last minute cancellation'' and companies really don't like that. You risk not being chosen often if you accumulate a high % of cancelled shift versus completed shifts. As for absences without cancelling your shift, that is the worse thing to do. Always be sure to cancel a shift when you realize you can't go anymore.
