GoodJOB, an application that connects companies and self-employed workers. From scheduling to invoicing, GoodJOB takes care of everything with this virtual staffing agency.
Our story
The GoodJOB application was created with the aim of providing businesses and freelancers with a platform to connect freely. GoodJOB enables the posting of temporary work shifts and notifies hundreds of qualified workers available near the workplace. Temporary workers can apply for shifts and get paid within a few days at competitive rates.
The founder started working on this project in the fall of 2018. Jean-Philip worked as a chef and in the hospitality industry for a long time, realizing that traditional placement agencies couldn't truly serve their clients to meet their expectations.
Inspired by Uber and Airbnb, among others, Jean-Philip then envisioned a mobile application that could facilitate connections between businesses and freelancers to confirm job contracts – a virtual placement agency! The technology solutions design firm, Logient, subsequently developed the GoodJOB application and launched the BETA version in spring 2021.
A competent team was assembled right from the launch. They guide users through the application, develop training programs, and promote the GoodJOB service throughout Quebec. In 2024, new shareholders join GoodJOB with the goal of expanding services and growing the company. The new president, Patrice Létourneau, is an experienced entrepreneur with significant expertise in professional services.
GoodJOB has ambitious plans for the future, including substantial investments to enhance the mobile application, expanding the available job profiles to assist other sectors in finding temporary workers, and venturing beyond Quebec.
Guided by our customer obsession, we are determined to consistently surprise them with more options on the fastest and safest virtual placement agency in the country.
